Humm hard to say, realy...

I tend to pick music depending on what I'm doing...

I go for:

Metal (the classics: Metalica, Iron Maiden, Pantera, etc)
Rock (not picky)
Drum and Base
House
Tecno
Alternative
Classical
and the usual f**ked up sh*t like Dr. Demento, (been listening to Creature feature on my dead guy a lot lately...)

Favorite individual bands... hummm too many to pick one.
